Archive
This page lists all of the journal's sections with a short description, and explains what happened to the earlier content on this domain and why we do not restore it.
The journal's archive is a map of its sections, not a store of other people's documents.
Journal sections
- Home: about the journal, five steps to a village celebration, frequently asked questions.
- Articles: the journal's topics and the catalogue of English-language articles.
- History of the topic: a timeline from the reading huts of the 1920s to the 2003 UNESCO Convention.
- People and roles: the roles that village culture rests on, and how to thank people without doing harm.
- Collections: three routes through the journal: a circle, a family archive, a celebration.
- Events: folk festivals, concerts, fairs, local history talks and how to check announcements.
- Analysis: how to record the memories of older residents, and a table of the forms of village cultural life.
About the domain's earlier content
This domain previously hosted the official website of a rural settlement and was later used for unrelated advertising. The current journal is connected with neither the former website nor the advertising pages and does not act on behalf of any bodies or institutions.
Content from the former official website is not reproduced or restored: those were documents and announcements that only the authorities themselves are entitled to publish. The advertising pages have been removed without replacement.
If you need official information such as documents, announcements or contact details, please visit the official websites of the public authorities. The journal does not hold such information and does not retell it.
Old links that point to addresses that no longer exist open a message saying the page has been removed. In that case, start from the home page or the Articles section: it brings together all of the journal's topics, from the house of culture and the choir to crafts, the folk calendar and the village library, making it easy to find what you need.
